Teacher Bio
Hello! My name is Elizabeth McConaughey but I go by Ms. Liz in my Pre-K classroom. I have been working in the education field for seven years but this is my first year here at BES.
I’m originally from Southern California but am excited to call Brevard our new home. I have one daughter, Hazel, two dogs, and one cat with my partner, Clayton. We love to go hiking, paddling, and traveling. I'm very proud to be an educator in this incredible community and looking forward to helping grow a love for learning in my all students.
Welcome to My Class!
In our classroom, we use the Highscope Curriculum which meets the NC Foundations Learning Standards. Our learning is play based, and assessments are built into our observations throughout the day.
