I moved to Western North Carolina from Ohio in 2004 and immediately fell in love with this area. I began working in Transylvania County Schools in 2008 as a Teacher Assistant in the Rebound Program at DRS. Since then, I have worked in various high schools as an Exceptional Children's teacher before joining the 8th grade team at Brevard Middle School in 2020. I'm excited to be stepping into the role of 8th grade math teacher as of the 2022-2023 school year. Outside of school, I like to spend time in the woods, camping or hiking, and enjoy going to see live music as often as I can.
