Brief Biography

I've been teaching for many years and have truly found my calling. I love getting out of bed each morning and traveling to BMS to begin a new day. Thank you for trusting me with your children!
I have one daughter of my own, my best friend, Chelsea, who has a career in health care information management and works for Advent Health. I also have one dog, Gracie Margaret, a Brittany-Basset Hound Mix, who is my best fur friend and hiking buddy. Four fantastic kitties round out my family: Minnie, Olivia, Henry, and Charlie Tuna.

We will be participating in the Democracy Project of Transylvania County again this year! The goal of the Democracy Project of Transylvania, Inc. is to enhance a sense of civic connection and agency among young people as well as a multi-generational connection between our students and the broader community.
