Teacher Bio

Greetings!  I am a Brevard native who graduated from BHS many decades ago.  After college, I started my teaching career with TCS in 1999.  Over the years I have taught at Pisgah Forest Elementary, Brevard Elementary, Brevard Academy, Rosman Elementary, in addition to Brevard Middle.  I also taught in Tennessee at Roosevelt Elementary in Kingsport City Schools.  

This year I am teaching 6th-grade Social Studies.  Yahoo!  To say that I love what I do is a major understatement; this is what I was made for!  

As for my family, I am married to an awesome husband and have two amazing adult children, my daughter, Jordan, and my son, Jake.  In 2017 we added a wonderful son-in-law, James.

 I am truly looking forward to teaching and getting to know this year's 6th-grade students.  It is going to be a great year!
