Educator Bio

I am beginning my first year teaching here at Brevard High School. Prior to beginning at Brevard I spent my first four years of my teaching career in Buncombe County at a middle school where I spent one year as the Spanish teacher and the other three as a PE teacher and the head football coach. I am a graduate of West Henderson High School and spent a lot of my childhood in the Brevard area as I have many relatives who live in Transylvania County. After High School I went to Appalachian State to be a part of their football team. After an injury to my shoulder I transferred to Western Carolina to complete my undergraduate degrees which included a Bachelors in Spanish and a Bachelors of Science in Education for Spanish Education. Upon receiving my PE position at Buncombe County I completed a Masters in Teaching in Health and Physical Education. In addition to teaching PE here at Brevard I am also an assistant football coach and I will be helping Mr Worley with FCA during club times throughout the year.
