Brevard Middle School

Hello! I am a native of Transylvania County. My roots go back to some of the founders of this county. I have experience teaching at BMS and BES, grades K-8, and formerly an Assistant Principal at Rosman Middle & High schools as well as Brevard High.   

Education is a commitment by a community. This area has a STRONG community! Students are our #1 priority and we will do what it takes to help them succeed. Looking forward to growing & learning with each new day!

I am happy to be a part of the Blue Devils and am proud to be serving as an assistant principal!  I graduated from Virginia Tech and Boston University earning a Bachelors and Masters of Arts in Music Education and then from Gardner Webb obtaining a Masters in Administration.

Hello! I am a native of WNC; growing up in Henderson County. However, my entire teaching career has been in Transylvania County. I taught 9 years at BMS, and was an AP there for 7 years. I then moved to BES as the AP for one year, until my journey brought me back to middle and high school aged students this year at RMHS. I am proud to be a tiger!!

My favorite things to do include spending time with family, camping, and snuggling my dog, Mollie!
