Battle of the Books

On April 18, 2023, the BMS Battle of the Books team competed in the WNC Regional battle. They did an amazing job, finishing strong in 3rd place overall. This talented team worked hard, reading 16 books, memorizing titles and authors, and preparing for this contest all year. They have certainly made us proud and represented BMS well.  Way to go!

So what is BoB?

After reading books on the list and memorizing the titles and authors, students prepare for competition by answering questions that begin with the phrase: "In which book...?"  We compete against RMS at the county level, and the winner of that contest will advance to Regionals in the early Spring.
