Membership Requirements 

In order to be a member in good standing of the Brevard chapter of the National Honor Society, all Brevard NHS members must adhere to the following guidelines: 

Academic

• • • Maintain a minimum 3.75 weighted GPA

Character

• • Support, adhere to, and abide by the Brevard Student Code of Conduct

  • Support, adhere to, and abide by all Local, State, and Federal Laws

  • Not Participating in an act of Academic Dishonesty during their high school career

Meetings

• • • Attend NHS Meetings

    • Regularly Check School Email & Google Classroom

    • Attend or help prepare for the Spring Induction Ceremony during senior year

Service to School (Tutoring) and Community

• • • Complete 20 total hours of service by May 31 of Junior Year.

    • Complete 30 total hours of service by January 31 of Senior Year.

    • Complete 40 total hours of service by May 31 of Senior Year.

    • Participate in the NHS Fall Service Activity during each year of membership

    • Participate in the NHS Spring Service Activity during each year of membership
