Biography
I am excited to be in the Rosman School District as the School Social Worker. I am a Transylvania County Native and 2014 Rosman High School graduate.
In my free time, I am most likely spending time with family or coaching basketball. I enjoy exercising and traveling in my spare time.

What does a school social worker do?
Provides for students' needs (school supplies, clothing, food, etc)
Coordinate Backpack Buddies and other food programs
Collaborates with school counselors and administration to meet any student needs
Address attendance issues with students and families
Work closely with students identified as homeless
Serves as a liaison between school and DSS
Meet with students individually regarding home and family life concerns
Serves as a liaison among schools, community, and home for all students
Attend community based meetings as a representative of the school system
Assist with crisis interventions (suicide screenings/lockdowns)
Develop procedures and protocols necessary to school social work
