Teacher Bio

I am excited to be a Pisgah Forest Ranger. I was born in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Saudi Arabia, Virginia, and New Mexico. My father's family has roots in neighboring Pickens County, South Carolina. My wife, and I have three sons who are 8, 10, and 12. We also have a  golden retriever named Goose

I have been an intervention teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, and district curriculum coordinator.

I love to spend time in the mountains hiking, skiing, rafting, paddle boarding, traveling, drinking good coffee and eating delicious food.
