I am a native of Transylvania County. When I was 37, I returned to school to earn my teaching degree. I have a BA in English from Brevard College. I earned my teacher licensure in Special Education from UNCA. I completed this process in May 2022. I have three children. My oldest son is in grad school at USC at Columbia working towards a psychology degree. My youngest son works in landscaping and construction in Transylvania County.  My daughter is a junior at RHS. I enjoy working out in the gym, hiking, running and reading in my spare time.
