Teacher Bio

I am a native of Transylvania County and former Brevard High graduate. I now live in Hendersonville with my husband and 2 sons who attend Pisgah Forest Elementary. I have a daughter who is married and works at an orthodontist office. I worked in Head Start for 12 years. During this time, I went back to school to receive my teaching degree. After college, I became a Kindergarten teacher. I taught Kindergarten for 12 years. I came to PFE as a reading specialist for K-5. I am now the Early Literacy Specialist for TCS.
