I was born and raised in Hendersonville and live there now with my wife Kara, and our baby girl Maryn.  I have been teaching at Brevard High since 2016, after two years teaching in Wilkesboro North Carolina.  I graduated from West Henderson High and went on to attend Appalachian State University.  I received my degree in Geology Secondary Education.  As far as my teaching philosophy is concerned I believe every student will get out what they put into this course.  If you come to class everyday with an open mind and ready to work, this class will be very rewarding and your grade will reflect this.
