The 2025-26 school year will be my 15th year in the classroom. I began my career at Colter Elementary teaching 3rd grade. For the past 14 years I've had the pleasure to work with 4th graders. My first 4 years of fourth grade I specialized in teaching Reading, Writing and Social Studies. Then I switched my specialization to teaching Math where Mrs. Moore and I co-taught for many years. Now I am back to teaching it all and I'm super excited to build really strong relationships and get to know my students as both readers, writers, and mathematicians.

On June 23, 2018 Mr. Scarola got married to Hannah Strauss. She holds it all together for my family and is a fabulous mother, wife, fitness and health guru.

On March 24, 2020 we welcomed our little bundle of joy to the world. Say hello to our baby Riley Madison Scarola! She's now 5!

On May 6th, 2021 we welcomed our son Hagan to the family! He's growing like a weed and is happy and healthy. He is 4.

We are so fortunate to be raising our young family in this wonderful community. My wife and I hope to instill the lessons we learned as college athletes in our children Riley and Hagan. I had the honor of graduating from The University of Notre Dame, which I attended on a football scholarship. While Hannah graduated from The University of Vermont where she played Lacrosse.

I realize I left Flash out of our family photo. Sorry buddy! So here he is again. He attended The University of Fetch, where he obtained 3 degrees. One in Swimming, a second in Ball Fetching and a third in Stick Fetching! We are very proud of him! He is 12!
