Building Bickle House
Building Bickle House
In the 1950's TCS was greatly in need of more student accommodation. Eager to support the growth of the School, E.W. Bickle, the father of Thomas Bickle '32, financed the construction of a new residence.
Designed by architect Bill Greer '43, construction of Bickle House began in June of 1957. Despite minor setbacks such as Hurricane Audrey flooding the construction site, Bickle House opened just in time for the beginning of the 1957-1958 academic year.
