Substitutes are important to the success of the total school program and are expected to perform in place of the regularly scheduled employee as directed by the school administrator. In the regular employees' absence, substitutes carry out all duties assigned to facilitate the instructional process and to provide for a safe, educationally productive environment in the classroom, the school or the workplace.

Must be at least 21 years old to substitute
Obtain Substitute Application Packet at the School Board Office
Complete the Drug Screen, Live Scan Fingerprints, and DSS Background check.
After all forms have been completed,, sign up for substitute workshop by calling Beverly Beavers at 276-988-5511 ext 2270
Once all screening results have been received and workshop attended, all substitutes must be approved at the monthly School Board meeting
