About Me

Liza Clifton first was introduced to TCPS as a parent.  Now, it all comes full circle as she teaches 7/8 research and 6/7 history.  She has been teaching for over 20 years in high school social sciences and later worked as a support teacher specializing in reading intervention and assisting students with learning challenges.  She looks forward to helping her students to think not only about the subjects they are studying but also about how they learn best.

Mrs. Clifton has a Bachelor of Arts  in Political Science from University of California at San Diego.  She has  her Single Subject Teaching Credential in English and Social Sciences and reading certification from San Diego State University.  She has additional training in Educational Therapy through Cal State Northridge.
