Ensures Equitable Digital Access Provides and advocates for equitable access to connectivity, digital devices, information resources, programming and services in support of the districts strategic vision.
Here is what I am currently doing in this focus area: The hub for student chromebook check out. The first stop for chromebook charging and other day to day issues students experience with their chromebooks.
Here is what I want to do in this focus area: Have enough technology available for student use so that middle and high school students can check out devices to use for academic work, during and after school. Purchase a new laptop and external DVD player for the Lecture Hall for presentations.
Here are my goals for this year in this focus area: Continue student check out of Chromebooks during the school day. Teach student chromebook care for "repeat offenders" of chromebook damage. Share Digital Resource Highlights with Faculty every monthy. Teach, as needed, access to electronic and digital resources in the collection. Purchase and set up a new laptop in the Lecture Hall for presentations.
Here are my goals for next year and beyond in this focus area: Keep pushing forward with technology purchases that promote equity and connectivity for students. Help students meet academic goals through techology use.
