We all need somewhere to start. Sometimes, we are able to make and develop that start on our own, but it never hurts to have some help getting there. Having a definition, like that which is provided in the attached article, of what it is you are trying to accomplish will allow you to continually reflect on what it is you are doing and compare it to that original definition. By comparing your actions with this idealized version of what you hope to achieve, you can continually reform and rework what it is you do in your classroom and build an environment that is truly beneficial to your students.
