The 2025 - 2026 Shock Tube Team was tasked with designing a small-scale shock tube for research purposes capable of meeting all of the outlined performance requirements.
What are the performance requirements for this project?

The shock tube must be capable of producing a shock in the range of Mach 2 - 2.5 (roughly 1500 - 1800 mph at room temperature).

Develop a shock tube 3 - 5 meters long that is resiliant against constant testing and usage.
03.
The data from the shock must be stored and easily accessible.
Each of these performance requirements were assigned to the role of one member, becoming their focus susbystem.
