As a service to you, the Lafayette Public Library subscribes to a wide variety of online databases that contain information on a variety of subjects. Sanborn Maps - The Sanborn Map Company played a vital role in the development of fire insurance map making in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Founded by D.A. Sanborn in 1867, the company created hand-made and colored lithograph maps of over 12,000 cities and towns across the United States and set the standard for fire insurance maps of the era.

How to use TinEye
Using TinEye, you can search by image or perform what we call a reverse image search. You can do that by uploading an image or searching by URL. You can also simply drag and drop your images to start your search.
