Victor Rhett

I am elated to join the staff of Tacoma Community House (TCH) as Director or Finance. 

My responsibilities are to are to direct the TCH financial reporting of operations and our sources and uses of financial resources.  I come to TCH having gained experience as an auditor with the Washington State Auditor and the Department of Defense and as a financial manager in local government and not for profits through practice as a public accountant and financial consultant.  I am licensed in Washington as a Certified Public Accountant and hold current certifications as a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner after obtaining a B.B.A in accounting from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.

My work at TCH merges my training, experience and avocation like no other job.  I love the aspect of being a behind the scenes person contributing to the work of people who make TCH go.

Away from work, I enjoy volunteering in community development projects locally and internationally. Those efforts have taken me to Mexico, Guatemala, Jamaica and most recently Haiti. 

To recharge, I sing am a budding sailor, fly kites and love woodworking and outdoor concerts of almost any genre.  Ok, I’m a die-hard Mariners fan—and Seahawks, too.
