Dan Watson

My name is Dan Watson, I recently received an Accounting degree from Tacoma Community College. But before I could enroll at TCC to complete my degree, I needed to get my GED. This is how I was first introduced to the Tacoma Community House, when I enrolled in the GED classes here at the TCH to start my academic career. Now that I have graduated I am eager to get out and start expand my knowledge in the accounting field. 

My wife Stephanie and I have been together since High School, we met while attending Lathrop High School in Fairbanks AK, we have three children together Kathrin, Seth, Annika. In my free time I like to collect vintage skateboards from the late 80’s to the early 90’s. I started collecting skateboards in 2004 the same year my daughter was born. I skate and snowboarded until about six years ago, that’s when I took a pretty bad fall off my skateboard and fractured the plateau of my tibia. This was one of the factors that I needed to go back to school and get my degree. I also like to be outside whether its camping or hiking, even doing some yardwork. Before buying a house, I didn’t really like doing yardwork. But now it is something I really enjoy doing, I guess it’s something you do when you become a home owner.
