Earth Day Breakout

Let's celebrate Earth Day with solving a breakout. You have  45 minutes to solve the breakout. And then go out and spread the word, "it is every one's responsiblity to protect the third planet rotating around the sun.

It's your planet – take good care of it.

Earth Day is celebrated every year on April 22. The first Earth Day was held on April 22, 1970. This time is a great way to learn about how we protect the environment. This is the time where we stop and ask, "What can I do to help out of the Earth?"

Turn off the water while you brush your teeth. You can save approximately 6 gallons each time you brush your teeth. Increase that amount if you can get more of your family to turn off the tap!

Don't throw away the clothes/shoes you don't like anymore or have outgrown. Find a clothing swap to reuse your clothes. Donate them to a charity or Goodwill.

Use your art supplies wisely. When you cut something out of a piece of construction paper - use the edge of the paper so the remaining piece can be re-used for another project.
