Below:
Ms Mustacado's art students work with the entire school community to install art installations throughout our school in commemoration of those who experienced the residential school system.
Ms Mikailian and Ms Farragher work with their native studies students to create masks that were inspired by the protagonist in the graphic novel, The Outside Circle, who gained strength by learning about the Indigenous healing practices lost to him and his ancestors through cultural genocide. Students expressed their own journeys from places of conflict towards resilience and strength, showcasing the sources of inspiration which have helped them through their struggles.
P1 Religion classes tie ribbons to recognize and honour lives lost.
