About Us

On Thursday October 5th, 2017, Saint Cecilia's student council members were elected; Christopher Pinnington as our president, Amy Stocking as our Vice President, Emma Jewel as Treasurer and Honora Murphy as Secretary. The student council is also made up of several student classroom representatives, such as Sofia Ponomariv, Ava Coccimiglio, Olivia DiVincenzo, Evan Graham, Lauren Kim and Zachary Xerri. It is our top priority to ensure that every student in our school community has a memorable experience here at St. Cecilia.

What We Do

We organize various school events throughout the year, such as school dances, student talent shows, spirit weeks, fundraisers and civvies days. These activities are planned based on student proposals. We ensure that these student events are planned in advance and that students are well informed beforehand, therefore giving them the chance to participate. Every year we organize a variety of dances for the students to celebrate the on going festivities. Though in past years, student council has only organized 2 dances for Halloween and Valentines Day, this year round we are adding in a Christmas dance. The spirit weeks are for the students to celebrate the holiday/occasion that is happening in a fun and exciting manner. For Christmas we have our red & green day, character day, crazy sweater day, etc.
