GRADE 8 REACH AHEAD PROGRAM
From: July 2025: Dates TBA Time: 8:30am to 3:30pm
Earn one secondary credit in 4 weeks focusing on literacy and numeracy skills. Activities include Guest Speakers, Workshops, Team Building, Leadership, and other activities.
LITERACY – NUMERACY – PHYSICAL EDUCATION
This program is for students entering Grade 9 in September 2025 at Senator O’Connor. HIF101 course is “Individual & Family Living” which will cover interpersonal, decision making, and practical learning skills related to daily living, to aid in the transition to secondary school. No school uniform required. The course gives students a chance to make new friends with their graduating class of 2029.
Registration will begin February 1st, 2025. This course fills quickly so don’t delay!
