My Family

My immediate family consists of 4 people. I was an only child until I was 7 years old when my little sister Alexia was born. My parents both work full time, where my father manages a car body shop and my mother manages the Financial Aid Department at a private College. I am very fortunate that I am surrounded by my extended family which includes my grandparents, aunts and uncles. I am a big cousin of 4 children. I have a close relationship with all of them and spend time with them almost every weekend.

My family's background is Portuguese, I have been very lucky to be able to visit Portugal many times throughout the Summer months. My mother was born in Paço, near Caldas da Rainha and my father was born in Toronto, Canada. My father and his parents returned to Bombarral, Portugal shortly after his birth, and then returned to Toronto in 1986. We enjoy the museums, churches, food and the beaches that the country has to offer. When we visit we stay at our beach house where we can relax and have fun. I enjoy surfing, going to the beach, playing soccer, and going out at night as places tend to close at 6am.
