Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Can I join the AP Program at any time?

Yes! As long as you have met the requirements of an 80% in the prerequisite and a letter from the teacher, then you can select the course for the following year. Course selections determine space in a class so it is important to select the course at selection to guarantee a spot.

  1. What happens if I decide not to take the test in Grade 12?

No test, no problem! You can continue in the program up until graduation without writing the exam. However, you will not be considered for a credit towards university without passing the exam with the minimum mark. You will be exposed to university material much earlier so there is an advantage either way!

  1. Is there a minimum number of AP courses I have to take to be in the program?

No! You can enrol in 1, 2, or many courses!
