Not at all. While my counseling approach is grounded in a biblical worldview, I work with clients from a variety of faith backgrounds (or none at all). You will never be pressured to believe anything you're not comfortable with. You're welcome just as you are.
If you are curious about how faith integrates with emotional healing, we can explore that at a pace that honors your story.
For clients who desire it, we will integrate biblical truth, prayer, and gospel hope into our sessions. We may look at how Scripture speaks to your struggles, where God may be inviting transformation, and how the Holy Spirit brings comfort and change.
Your faith isn’t a side note here—it’s welcomed and respected as central to your healing journey.
Yes, I do accept insurance for therapy sessions.
Please note: insurance companies require a clinical diagnosis that meets medical necessity criteria according to the DSM-5-TR. I will always be thorough and honest in assessing your symptoms and, if a diagnosis is appropriate, I will provide care through your insurance plan.
If your symptoms do not meet criteria for a diagnosable condition, we can still work together—but it would need to be through private pay.
Absolutely. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida, I am bound by state law and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics to protect your confidentiality.
All sessions, records, and communication are kept secure and confidential, with the exception of rare situations where I am legally required to report—for example, risk of harm to self or others, abuse of a minor or vulnerable adult, or court orders.
Everything else remains between us. Your trust is something I take seriously.
The first step is a free 15-minute consultation call. This gives us a chance to:
Talk about what you're hoping for
Answer any questions you may have
Ensure we're a good fit for each other
If we agree to move forward, the next steps include:
Clinical Assessment
A full intake session to explore your history, current challenges, and goals.
Goal Setting
We’ll collaborate on a plan that is both clinically sound and personally meaningful—whether that includes emotional recovery, relational healing, or spiritual growth.
Ongoing Counseling
Sessions are tailored to your needs, drawing from evidence-based therapies and biblical truth as appropriate.
Client Portal Access
All consent forms, documentation, and appointment scheduling are handled securely and electronically through the client portal for your convenience.
I offer individual and family counseling for adults and older teens. My approach is:
Clinically grounded – drawing from trauma-informed care, CBT, and attachment theory
Faith-integrated – incorporating biblical truth, prayer, and spiritual support when desired
Collaborative and relational – you are never just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms; you are seen, known, and valued
That’s okay—and you're not alone. Many clients come to me after past therapy experiences that were helpful, but incomplete. My goal is not to keep you in therapy forever or apply a surface-level fix. I want to walk with you toward lasting, gospel-rooted change.
Together, we’ll pursue healing that isn’t just functional—but transformational.
My counseling practice is shaped by the ethical standards of both the state of Florida and the Christian counseling tradition. I strive to offer a safe, respectful, and hope-filled space for every client—where your emotional wellness and spiritual growth can flourish together.
If you’re ready to begin or just have questions, I’d love to connect with you.
