TCA iTerm

What is iTerm?

iTerm is a week of the school year designated to increase both educational and ministry opportunities for high school students (grades 9th-12th) at Trinity Christian Academy. Students will have the unique opportunity to serve a variety of local or regional ministries, participate in family organized mission projects, or travel across the country and the world through a variety of educational and mission focused excursions. In addition, juniors and seniors may choose to plan and participate in internships which will enable them to experience a profession first-hand and gain an understanding of what it means to work in a particular field.

When and Why?

iTerm will take place the week before Spring Break of each school year.

Each student in grades 9th-12th must sign up for an option. The goal of iTerm is to provide opportunities, outside of school walls, for academic and spiritual growth for our student body.

How much does it cost?

There are many opportunities for iTerm involvement ranging from minimal charge (think, just lunches) to around $4,000. Students and families will be able to choose the option that works best for them. All students in grades 9th-12th are required to choose from the list of options. While this week is not the typical school week at TCA, students are expected and required to attend school through one of the options provided. Choice priority will be given to senior class first, working down to freshmen.

**As we have been blessed with a growth in both our student body and staff, TCA currently does not have a need for parent chaperones. Adult chaperones will be filled with TCA employees.
