STEAM Career Day April 3, 2020

Know a business or individual that would make a great addition to our STEAM Career day as a presenter? Are you interested in presenting at our STEAM Career day? Or possibly you have a group that would like to be part of our exhibition hall? If you answered "yes" to any of those questions please fill out a presenter form and we will be in contact with you very soon! Thank you.

Why STEAM Career Day?

STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) provides our students with the experiences and problem solving skills they will need as they look ahead to their futures. Through STEAM education students are encouraged to think critically, make mistakes, collaborate, and take risks to solve real world problems. STEAM careers/jobs remain in high demand and that trend is only expected to grow. The Tburg STEAM committee has three goals for our event.

1. To connect the science, technology, engineering, art, and math that students are experiencing everyday in our classrooms to the real world.

2. To provide students with a glimpse of the opportunities that await them in STEAM education classes and career fields.

3. To continue to foster relationships with members of our local STEAM community for ongoing collaboration.
