The Kansas City Alumni Chapter was founded with 20 initial members via WebEx over the course of 2020 and was officially charted on December 14, 2020. We are based in the principles and ideals of The Tau Beta Pi Association. If you have been previously initiated into Tau Beta Pi through a collegiate chapter, then you are eligible to join!
Uphold the principles and ideals of The Tau Beta Pi Association.
Advance the causes of the engineering profession.
Provide opportunities for alumni of Tau Beta Pi to meet and discuss common interests.
Assist the D9 collegiate chapters, and Iowa State University (IA A) collegiate chapter in D11 with their programs and the selection of suitable alumni and eminent engineers for election to membership in the Association.
The Tau Beta Pi Association was founded at Lehigh University in 1885 by Edward Higginson Williams Jr., to mark in a fitting manner those who have conferred honor upon their Alma Mater by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering, or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering, and to foster a spirit of liberal culture in engineering colleges.
