Natural Hazard Inquiry
Reflect on how you went during your inquiry. What did you learn?
Are we prepared enough to handle your natural hazard and why?
Explain how you worked toward your goals and how it helped your learning. What worked? What didn’t? What will you do differently next time?

My ninth Inquiry went very well, I think this was because I have done the inquiry process many times before and was able to work efficeantly
The Natural Hazard Inquiry was really useful as it taught me lots about tsunamis and the risks of them
I terms of preparation to deal with the Natural Hazard of tsunamis, I think
My solution was the most efficient because New Zealand is an island country with most of the population along the coast
One of my goals was to stay committed and finish early while maintaining a good level of quality in all of my subject areas. By working on this goal, it helped me to improve my learning because it taught me to proofread and rework elements that might have stopped me from getting that goal
The goal I did the best with was staying committed. The reason it went so well was because I achieved my goal, getting fives or sixes on everything, while also finishing multiple days in advance, allowing time to properly re-read and practice. My presentation was better as I...
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because while i did apply for a job, I did not end up getting it so i will have to apply for more
Next time I will practice the presentation out load with someone else (if i am doing a presentation) this will help me because my voice was still to fast when presenting so this would help me slow it down to be more manageable for the audience
Evidence of Term 3 goals being met.
Copy and paste all relevant evidence in the form of screenshots or written explanations of what was done to achieve your 4 goals for Term 3.
e.g. Test results, teacher feedback, parent feedback, peer feedback, your own explantion of things you did etc.
Staying committed and finishing early whilst also staying at a high level on everything can be proved by my results and feedback given by my teachers as well as my timeline.
I have shown to be an active learner and teacher to others in mathematics i collaborate a lot with Tom and Finn, I also help Dylan and Cole if needed.
3.I stayed committed towards hockey and squash by completing the hockey season (scoring multiple goals), I am still doing squash each Friday. I also applied to New World trying to get a job.
Unfortunately during the presentation my voice was too fast so more practice with other people would have been useful (this is my goal i did the worst on
