Why did my nana migrate to new zealand
Intro: Hi i’m here to talk about my nans imagration
Biography: Nan grew up in a small country town by the name of redbourne the town was 26k’s from london. The main motorway was M1 which went from one side of england to the other. The main road throw redbourne use to be in english history. dickturpen used to rob the rich of their wealth.
Push factor 1: Overpopulation is something you have to deal with in the uk i mean sometimes you have to wait in a line just to use the telephone. Would you like to walk with someone right behind you? and your also squeezed up to another person it would be so easy to get lost
Push factor 2: Muggy weather is a common thing in london sure that's a bit stereotypically but it is mostly true. When my nan left it was the start of autumn and just like autumn mornings it would be cold and then as the day went on it would get warmer.
Discussion of push factors: Now tell me how would you like to live in a place like this.
Pull factor 1: New Zealand is a quite country well kind of quiet if you live were my and my nana live by that i mean on a farm you have animals being loud tractors motorbikes butt anyway let me get back to the presentation it was quiet in the 60’s or 40’ when ever my nan got here.
Pull factor 2: The landscapes are plentiful here than in England as you will know if you watch hunting shows. If you were in London at the time it would just be boring flat ground but if you live in New Zealand there would be hills, flat ground and other things like that.
Discussion of pull factors: Now i ask would you rather live here.
Conclusion: Thank you for listening.
