Reflection # 6
Career Inquiry
Reflect on how you went during your inquiry. What did you learn?
How was your start to this year different to last year? (Look back to your Ancestry Inquiry reflection)
Explain how you worked toward your goals and how it helped your learning. What worked? What didn’t? What will you do differently next time?
Write your reflection here...
My first Inquiry of the year went well think this was because I was working alone and I put a lot of hard work in it.
The Career Inquiry was really useful as it made me aware of what I need to do to become a pilot and what steps I need.
How do I feel about my second year of Inquiry now that I’ve spent 4 weeks in it? Well, I have to say that I think that some people in this class are making me want to leave at times, and other times, when they are away, I like it.
It was a different start for me this year because I knew how it worked.
One of my goals was to work on one getting more sleep, and I did this goal, which helped me to improve my learning because it taught me that sleep is important.
The goal I did the best with was sleep. The reason it went so well was that I went to bed earlier
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because I wasn't.
Next time I will try to get more experts. This will help me because I will have more evidence.
Evidence of Term 1 goals being met.
Copy and paste all relevant evidence in the form of screenshots or written explanations of what was done to achieve your 4 goals for Term 1.
e.g. Test results, teacher feedback, parent feedback, peer feedback, your own explantion of things you did etc.
I had 8 hours of sleep before starting the inquiry, and now I have 10
I closed my computer when the teachers were talking.
I got a good grade in maths.
And I joined the chess club.
