Reflection #8
Innovation Inquiry
Reflect on how you went during your inquiry. What did you learn?
What were some of the challenges of innovating?
Explain how you worked toward your goals and how it helped your learning. What worked? What didn’t? What would you do differently next time?

My eighth Inquiry went well although I didn't like my presentation all that much. I think this was because it wasn't something I was passionate about and I didn't get to make a slideshow. I still did better on my pitch than I thought I was going to do
The Innovation Inquiry was really useful as it taught me A new thinking process and just how powerful prototyping is.
I think my innovation was creative and very useful but strayed a little from the path of solving my problem because it was hard to make it aligned for mental health considering it was a whole new phone.
The biggest challenge of innovating for me was doing the research slides because it was difficult to understand what was meant to go on them.
One of my goals was to be able to work better with others and work with others more often to improve my teamwork skills. *teamwork* by working on this goal it helped me to improve my learning because it taught me the value of being able to rely on others.
The goal I did the best with was to get more sleep to avoid burnout *resilient* the reason it went so well was because I stopped going on my phone before bed and kept the lights off
I was a bit frustrated with how one goal went because it was to be more efficient in the first week of inquiry. I got too comfortable during the first week and was unaware of how much work I needed to do.
Next time I will ask more questions and get feedback more often this will help me because I will stay on track and know if i'm behind or not.
Evidence of Term 2 goals being met.
Copy and paste all relevant evidence in the form of screenshots or written explanations of what was done to achieve your 4 goals for Term 2.
e.g. Test results, teacher feedback, parent feedback, peer feedback, your own explantion of things you did etc.
I want to be a bigger critical thinker and be less gullible to fake news *Hauora* Every time I saw a controversial take or drama, I made sure to consider both side and develop an opinion that isn't one sided or biased I applied this well with my research on the green slides.

I want to be more efficient in the first week of inquiry. I don't think that I reached this goal.

I learned this when Alex helped me come up with a prototype.
*My prototype has been recycled but it looks like a standard phone*
My innovation is a modular phone that is designed for mental health reduction. Modular meaning that it has easily replaceable parts.
