Booster Committees

Fundraising

• This team is involved in the various fundraisers throughout the year. The traditional band fundraisers are: Arts & Crafts Festival, Community sponsorships, various band concerts & dinners, ad sales for events and other fundraising activities throughout the year.

Uniform

• This team takes care of outfitting the students with marching band and concert band uniforms. They make any needed alterations and see that the uniforms are cleaned periodically.They also need to be available on band trips to help with quick repairs and loading/unloading from the truck.

Pit Crew

• This team is on hand at the marching competitions to help the “pit” set up their area on the field before the performance and helps remove it once the performance is over. They assist with set up, removal, maintenance and construction of props, if necessary.

Food/Hospitality

• This team oversees the feeding of the students during marching season with snacks or sack lunches as asked for by the director.They ensure that we have food & drinks for the students at the marching competitions. They also help organize food needed for the marching invitational and other events as requested.

Band Invitational

• This is one of our biggest fundraisers & most visible event. Each fall, the TCHS band hosts a marching band competition. There is much preparation to be done, from arranging for bleachers to be brought in to cooking for concessions. ALL band parents are needed to help on that day; however several are needed for preparation prior to the event. Examples of opportunities include: program ad sales & development, trophy sponsors, advertising in the local media, food, guest hospitality, ticket takers, etc

Band Banquet

• The band banquet is held in May to honor a year of hard work by the students and their parents. Typically, the senior parents put this together; however everyone is welcome to help
