How to buy a Vehicle?
In the web browser open the website nzta.govt.nz/online.
From the section "Online services", click on "Vehichles".
After that, click on "Buying and selling a vehicle" from tha available options.
Select "Buying a vehicle" from the left side.
You will see the multiple option for buying an vehicle such as: Where to find an agent, Buying an electric vehicle, Transport service licence etc,.
Before purchasing a used vehicle, obtain a MotorWeb report or check the Personal Properties Securities Register (PPSR) for any security interests on the vehicle.
Exchange payment, complete a sale agreement, and ensure the ownership is officially transferred through the appropriate paperwork.
You're legally required to let them know immediately when you buy a vehicle.
