Retail Courses:

Students can gain 20 credits at L2 in retail in the following stores, The Warehouse, The Warehouse Stationery, Z Forecourt, Countdown, Pak 'n' Save, Four Square or New World. Students would attend one day a week for 10 weeks or in some cases can do a 2 week block course in the school holidays.

Project Pest Control:

This year the course is being held at Barge Park in May with the assessment day in June. Students interested in conservation and/or pest control can gain skills in the industry as well as a mixture of 27 L2 & L3 credits.

NZ Institute of Sports Course:

Run in the school holidays this course is either L2 or L3 and teaches students about sports coaching, officiating, fitness and recreation. This is a great course to help broaden a students horizons.

Barista:

Throughout the year Barista courses are run at either L2 or L3. The school now has its own coffee machine for students to practice with and allow the opportunity for fundraising.

Defensive Driving:

If students are successful in passing this course they can get 6 months off their restricted license. The course will be running mid-year and students will need to have had their Learner license for at least four months to be able to participate. There are limited numbers for the course so please register your interest now.

Forklift Course:

This course gives students the skills to drive and operate a forklift correctly, it is to be run mid year and has limited numbers so again please register your interest now.

General:

There are courses running throughout the year for all different industries and skills. Please contact me if you would like to learn skills in a specific area.
