This site contains a range of learning activities.
Please only cover what you can at home. As children complete activities, encourage them to post a photo/video on Seesaw. This could also be any learning they do at home (building a hut in the backyard, baking a cake, etc.) We would love to see it! You'll need to download the Seesaw Class app or login to the Seesaw website and use the access code emailed to you personally by your child's teacher. This is different to the parent login we sent home at the start of the year which requires the Seesaw Family app.
Learning comes in so many forms that you will probably have already considered, including but not limited to;
• A bit of reading every day (independent or to them or via audiobook, etc.)
• Freewriting now and then
• Keeping a diary or drawing a comic
• Practical hands-on maths. Be that via cooking, cleaning, or some maths games physical or digital.
• Some fine motor work. Lego, cutting, making and playing with playdough, tidying up small toys.
• Physical exercise every day (get the kids to make the routine)
• Art/music where possible through the week. Doesn't need to be guided.
Every child in the Middle Team has a login for Epic (online reading) and Studyladder (a range of interactive online activities).
We will add to this site - this will be a ‘one-stop shop’ to support your child’s learning at home.
Wednesday 25th March - Friday 27th March: We are available between 9am-3pm, If you have any questions, please email your child’s teacher. We will be checking our email regularly and will get back to you as soon as possible. You can spend time during the next three days familiarising yourself with the activities on this site.
Monday 30th March - Tuesday 14th April: School Holidays (including the Easter break).
From Wednesday 15th April: We will be available again online between 9am-3pm. We will send out a team email on the morning of Wednesday 15th April with updated information following the school holiday break.
We look forward to seeing you all again soon! Take care everyone.
