The Taumarunui Athletic Sports Centre exists to promote and support amateur sport and community activity by providing accessible premises and facilities for a wide range of sporting, social, and special events.

Our versatile facility is designed to cater for both sporting and community use, making it a hub for activity in the heart of Taumarunui. 

Indoor Gym & Court Hire – Suitable for basketball, pickleball, netball, and a variety of indoor sports and games.

Lounge Area – A comfortable space ideal for gatherings, birthday celebrations, weddings, sports events, prize-givings, and meetings.

Kitchen Facilities – A partially equipped kitchen is available to support events and functions.

Bar & Chiller – Available by arrangement. Additional terms, conditions, and costs apply when booking the bar area.

School & Youth Events – Available for school bookings including prize-givings, Year 8 formals, large school assemblies, cultural events, training days, and other education-based gatherings.
