We welcome all new enrolments. These are administered through the school office.
Please feel free to make an appointment to visit the school Principal to discuss what we can offer your child.
It is helpful for staffing and planning purposes if we know in advance, the names and birth dates of pupils intending to enrol.

Supporting Documentation
Along with a completed Enrolment Form, the following documentation is required prior to your child starting school.
1. NZ Birth Certificate or NZ Passport for starting 5-year-olds. If you are not a New Zealand Citizen, please provide evidence of a New Zealand Resident Visa or Student Visa along with a Birth Certificate.
2. Immunisation Certificate - found at the back of the New Zealand Well Child Health Book. The Immunisation Record must clearly state immunizations and the Certificate must be signed and date stamped by your doctor's clinic.
If you are unable to locate the Well Child Health Book, please ask your GP to provide you with a printed record and provide this to the school.
3. For parents who have provided overseas evidence of Immunisations, you will need to have this verified by your New Zealand doctor and a copy given to the school clearly stating the dates and specific immunisations that have been given to your child.
Enrolment Scheme
To enable us to accommodate growth in the area, and to manage enrolment applications from the wider district Tatuanui School operates an enrolment zone that is reviewed every three years. Under this scheme, 'out of zone' applications must go into a ballot system
Each year the Board will determine the number of places which are likely to be available in the following year for the enrolment of students who live outside the zone.
Cut off for enrolments in Terms 1 & 2 of the following year is 13 October of the current year
Cut off for terms 3 & 4 of the current year is 15 June
