WHAT IS THE TECHNOLOGY STUDENT ASSOCIATION? The Technology Student Association (TSA) is a national, non-profit organization of more than 250,000 middle and high school students engaged in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Almost 5,000,000 student members have participated in TSA since 1962 through challenging competitions, leadership opportunities, and community service. The student organization began in 1962 as the Georgia Association of Industrial Arts Clubs (GAIAC), beginning with ten clubs, statewide: Briarcliff High, Atlanta; Coffee County High, Douglas; Commerce High, Commerce; Cross Keys High, Atlanta; Dalton High, Dalton; Glennville High, Glennville; Jeff Davis High, Hazelhurst; Savannah High, Savannah; Warner Robins High, Warner Robins; and Winder-Barrow High, Winder.
