INTRODUCTION
Essential Question 1: What makes a place unique?
So far you have examined the 13 Colonies by regions (Southern, Middle and New England) with a focus on several things that the colonies within each of those specific regions shared in common.
But ultimately every one of the 13 Colonies was unique!
It’s time to put different colonies to the test. Choose a colony and create a report card that grades and comments on different aspects of that colony. Find its highlights and its flaws to justify your grades!
STEPS
Choose one of the following colonies: Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, or Georgia
Visit the Research Resources provided to complete each section of your Research Planner
Assign a report card grade (A - F) for each of the different aspects of your colony in your Comment Writing Document
Write a comment to support each grade in the Comment Writing Document
Create a Canva presentation of the report card
