Special Track is a category specially open for students with industry project. They will receive a certificate of appreciation from committee as a consolation for their hard work.

No. If the capstone (or FYP) students involved in any industrial projects that does not granted to showcase their projects, they are strictly not allow to join any competition. They will violate the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for disclosing the projects details to possible competitors.

Capstone/FYP students will pre-record their project presentation with integrating the demo video optionally in their presentations prior the event. The submitted pre-recorded video will play back in competition during the event. The marks from external judges (public judges) will determine the best presentation video and the students’ final capstone marks.

All year 3 capstone students are compulsory to participate, except those with industrial projects under the condition stated in Q5. The participation of FYP students is optional.
