The things that kept me up and going and trying to learn new things and that inspired me was to just trust myself and feel confident in my artwork that I was making for the whole school year. I'm interested in arts because it was something I wasn't always good at and wanted to go out of my comfort zone and do something that can change the world by telling others what's happening but in an art way. The feelings that I went through are stressing to see if I'm going to get this art worksheet done or just rushing to be the first person to go onto the next step. Like for the coffee puzzle art peace I was rushing a little but still turned out the way I wanted it to be. Our first art show that we did and it was the music one, I learned that yes I can do this and get better but will I be needing this in the future maybe maybe not or who knows. While looking up things about our ocean awareness contests theme that many sea animals die in the garbage in our seas and getting caught in fishing nets or anything. It's just sad to see this keep happening and need a lot of change in the world today. My message to the viewers of my artwork is that it's never perfect. I'm kinda new to doing public art. You can work with your class to make things into a collage or things that everyone can agree on and make that art and show others and get their say. The actions that I will take to help out our state on recycling is to throw away plastic that doesn't belong on the ground or anywhere else like the lake, ocean, and creeks. We need to protect our water because we can bring toxic things with us and we don't want that to be a problem like it is now. Climate change has been hard to stop and that's why we have an earth day. Earth day is the day when people come out and clean the streets that are covered in trash or the grass.

This year for our art expedition we expressed the need to change our climate we used coffee beans to paint a depiction based off how climate change affects coffee beans. The inspiration I took for my art piece was knowing how coffee impacts my school and environment. A lot of people depend on coffee to get them going in the morning. Reading interesting facts about coffee helped me learned the benefits that coffee has. My interest came when I was nine years old because I loved how the artist depicted a story using shapes and colors and it inspired me to use the pain in my life to tell a life story people could relate to. The process for creating this art piece was frustrating at first cause all of us artist viewed it differently and we were on different levels but it still represented us all. The message I want people to see when the art piece is viewed is that climate change impacts our lives and one difference can change how something is viewed. When doing the research, I learned that carbon dioxide is at its highest right now. What I can do to stop climate change is to turn recycled goods into works of art.

I am interested in arts because it gives my mind a creative outlet. After seeing the abuse of the earth, it inspired my art on my puzzle piece. My message to the viewers is to love the earth and take care of it like it’s your own child. The coffee was a good way to bring that message out because it comes from a plant on the earth and its safe to say it was a success.

Creating coffee art is not a very known or popular way of creating art. We choose to use coffee because of climate change. Climate change is happening all around us and alot more people need to take notice. And one thing that could be lost in all this is coffee, something many adults cannot live without. But it couldn't just be about climate change, it also had to be something funny. So many of us took the time to sketch out something in coffee that could give people a little chuckle. What I took away from this was that messages could be made in many forms to inform people about our society today.

In public art we learn and talked about the climate change. We watch documents and made different art pieces that represent climate change. I am interested in this art because you can be very creative and make good art pieces, and with that we are giving ideas on how we can help out the climate change. The process of creating art, music, and dance gives you different ways to experiences what you are trying to convert. My message to my views of my artwork is help climate change with a cup of coffee. After reaching and watching documents I learned that Climate change can impact human health. It can cause other health challenges like widespread heat stress and increased air pollution that can hurt animals and humans. Some things that I can do to help out climate change is use less hot water or recycle more or avoid products with a lot of packaging.

The whole idea of the coffee house installation performance was to make students realize if there's no areas for coffee to grow then that means teachers wouldn't be happy because teachers depend on coffee to start their day off positively. I was very interested in the coffee house installation performance because it made me realize that without coffee teachers won't be happy which means if the teachers are not happy they can't teach the students to the best of their ability.

What inspired my work and creative process was climate change and the effects it has on coffee. With that being said, we used concentrated coffee to paint like watercolors with a multitude of techniques. That which included a sponge, white color pencil resist, tape, spatter, and paintbrush. I am interested in the arts because it's a way to be creative with no limits. The message that is being sent to the viewers is that if nothing is done about climate change then a lot of things that people love, such as coffee, may no longer be available. Beyond individual actions like recycling, some actions that I can collectively engage in with your community to tackle climate change is making better choices for the environment and doing research on how one can further help.
