Take advantage of the nice weather and go outside with some chalk and practice making number bonds! We have learned about hidden pairs up to the number 8! Take a picture and send your spectacular math art to your teacher! Here are some examples:

We created robust packets for weeks 3 and 4 and are looking forward to students using the daily learning expectations in the packets.
If your student is looking for supplemental/additional math material, we encourage them to go onto Zearn and/or IXL daily to receive more guided and differentiated learning during our time apart.
Skills on both Zearn and IXL have been hand picked by your student’s teacher to meet his/her needs. We encourage you to support your student with completing either 1 IXL skill (to a SMART score of at least 80) or a complete a Zearn lesson from beginning to end each day.
**A note about IXL: When your student logs on, you will see a yellow star with recommended skills. Please have your student try these skills. They were hand picked by your students teacher.
