• Newsela

  • Newsela has an excellent assortment of articles connected to ELA, social studies, science, math, and current events. Lexile scores can be changed to increase or decrease the articles’ complexity. Log in with your school email and lunch code.

  • CommonLit is similar to Newsela. It has an excellent assortment of articles connected to ELA, social studies, science, math, and current events. Log in with your school email and lunch code.

• Kids Discover

  • Kids Discover is similar to both Newsela and CommonLit. However, it also incorporates interactive elements such as maps. Lexile scores can be changed to increase or decrease the articles’ complexity. To access the site:

Step 1: Select Log In (top right corner of screen)

Step 2: Select Create A Student Account

Step 3: Select Sign in with Google

Step 4: Select No: Create a new account using your Google account.

Step 5: Enter your class code (located down below)

  • IXL provides a comprehensive K-12 curriculum for both ELA and Social Studies. Use the following login information rather than the login previously used for just math:

  • No Red Ink is a program aimed at helping students develop strong writing skills. Lessons and skills can be assigned, but the program can also be self-guided. To access No Red Ink, please do the following:
