Who Are We? Funded by the Department of Early Education and Care, the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant (CFCE) offers free, high-quality playgroups and literacy programs and provides access to local resources/supports to strengthen families, promote optimal child development, and bolster school readiness. Tantasqua/Union 61’s local CFCE is called Family Foundations 5 and serves the families of the Union 61 school district in Brimfield, Brookfield, Holland, Sturbridge and Wales.
We are happy to connect you to community supports related to child development, education, mental health, food/fuel assistance, etc. Please ask!
Learn more about your child's development! We provide free access to the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), a parent driven screening which provides a snapshot of where a child is in their development (ages 0-5 years) and is an opportunity for families to learn how to support their child's learning.
